Senior Analyst, Business Stack Analytics

Summary

This position provides reporting and analytical support to Revenue Business Stacks in their analytical and reporting needs. Responsibilities include conducting data analytics, building executive dashboards, and identifying actionable insights from transactional data.  The position will also perform ad-hoc analysis using trends, vintage, cohort, and other visual views.  This position work closely with Retailers, Finance, Stack Management, and other departments.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership with a passion for data analytics. The senior analyst will work independently to drive customer behavior analytics – identifying insights and trends for various customer segments and vintages.  The senior analyst will also be responsible for supporting financial and revenue analytics.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to consistently deliver high quality analysis with excellent attention to detail. The successful person in this role will collaborate with various teams (analytics, data warehouse, finance, & accounting) as a subject matter expert and present complex topics and analysis in an easy to comprehend manner.

  • Outstanding analytical abilities with the ability to work independently
  • Strong technical execution skills with proven experience in synthesizing large amounts of transactional data to offer cohesive analyses, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Experience using major BI software packages (e.g. Micro- Strategy, Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire).
  • Microsoft Office Products expertise with advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, VLOOKUPs, statistical functions, presentation styles, etc.) and experience building PowerPoint presentations
  • Big 4 or Consulting experience a plus (e.g. Finance/Accounting experience, design/build data driven solutions, ability to adapt to dynamic environments)

 

Requirements
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3+ years of data analytics experience
  • Advanced SQL querying skills required. Experience with stored procedures, functions, and cursors a plus.
