The Manager, Enterprise Risk Management Reporting will be responsible for delivering monthly enterprise risk and compliance dashboard reporting to the ERMC and the Board, including but not limited to: top risks, key metrics, compliance status and findings, third party risk profile etc.  He/she will also perform risk analysis and risk reporting tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled, to support other enterprise risk and compliance activities. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who is able to deliver high quality work within tight deadlines.  This role also requires learning overall business operations to provide relevant reporting/metrics and recommendations.

                                                               

RESPONSIBILITIES

Risk Analysis

  • Risk analysis utilizing data interrogation software
  • Analyze trends and inter-relationship between data sets and present findings/recommendations

Reporting and Presentation

  • Maintain company-wide key metrics (KPIs and KRIs)
  • Produce all relevant monthly dashboard reporting for risk and compliance function in a timely manner
  • Translate data into actionable presentations and reports
  • Project management and report writing with accountability for established deadlines

Reporting Automation

  • Leading the identification and implementation of data analytics opportunities
  • Automate recurring reports and drive process improvement using technology
  • Provide support with database queries and analytics capability to support other risk and compliance activities

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or financial discipline required.
  • Masters in similar field a plus.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a business intelligence / analytics role.
  • Proficient experience in MS SQL and creative thinking skills to develop SQL queries.
  • Previous experience using BI software packages (e.g. Tableau/Micro-Strategy) preferred.
  • Strong expertise utilizing advanced functions in spreadsheet (Excel), database (Access) and data extraction (query) software.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be able to communicate ideas effectively and concisely to all levels of Management.
  • Ability to define, extract, create queries and analyze data based on a fundamental understanding of process, control and risk in support of the department's data analytics strategy.
  • Must be able to critically evaluate business problems/requirements and translate into analytical exercises.
  • Ability to identify actionable insights from transactional data.
  • Proactive work style used to consistently communicate project status, issues and completion plans.
  • Progressive thinking skills, strong work ethic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using major GRC software packages (e.g. Archer GRC) a plus.
  • Visual Basic (Microsoft Office Macros) a plus.
