Sr. Project & Relationship Management Officer


The Sr. Project and Relationship Management Officer will report into the GM of Banking Services, Green Dot Bank. He/she will develop and manage direct relationships with external partners, clients, and internal stakeholders as the Banking Services subject matter expert with Green Dot Bank and Green Dot clients.  This person will be highly focused on understanding client business models, supporting business lines needs, and identifying existing, or proposing new, solutions and services that Green Dot Bank can provide, while serving as a trusted advisor, problem solver and business partner. The Sr. Project and Relationship Management Officer will assist in the development of profitable products as the key point of client contact, building business solutions which are commensurate with client goals as well as Green Dot Bank priorities. This individual will be responsible for assisting in and nurturing the client’s relationship over time while ensuring clients are able to take full advantage of the evolving Green Dot Bank product functionality, including proposing expansion of the Green Dot Bank product suite where appropriate.

The Sr. Project and Relationship Management Officer will also conduct business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their products and services. He/she will work with clients to manage project plans and budget evaluation, coordinating resources across multiple functional areas, both internal at Green Dot Bank and Green Dot, and with clients and partners. This person will be responsible for obtaining approvals, tracking project updates and acting as a channel for related internal communication.

This person will also be part of a team responsible for assessing various areas of the operation, recommending enhancements if necessary, and ensuring the Bank and associated functions are sufficiently positioned to launch, service, and scale products prior to commercialization.


  • Eight (8) + years previous experience in Banking or Financial Services

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent job experience

  • Client-oriented mindset with the ability to develop lasting partnerships

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients

  • Entrepreneurial approach to large, complex projects, with a focus on solutioning 

  • Well-versed in commercial and consumer regulatory requirements

  • Prior experience in developing, implementing and managing banking products and programs, both internally for a bank and for external partners

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with a hands on approach

  • Strategic thinker with an analytical mind

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic who enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and works well as part of a team or individually with minimal supervision
