Business Analyst - Supply Chain
The Business Analyst – Supply Chain performs relevant analysis for managing inventory availability, project related costs, vendor performance, and other key activities and metrics. Evaluates and purchases services, supplies, and products based on technical and design specifications, quality, lead time, and price. Provides project coordination and performance tracking for multiple simultaneous projects. Strong cross-functional collaboration is a critical success factor.
Develop and execute comprehensive supply plans, project requirements, and timelines to execute successful Marketing and Supply Chain initiatives and projects.
Manages vendor bidding process, analyzes bid results, and makes recommendations for award.
Creates purchase requisitions and purchase orders; reviews orders for completeness, accuracy, and delivery timing; manages changes to orders with accuracy and sense of urgency.Verifies and tracks all activity on all Purchase Orders including receipts, payments, monthly accruals and guidance.
Work with the vendor to ensure materials are produced per specification, quality standards, on time and at least landed cost.Establishes and monitors kitting, shipping, and delivery schedules.
Provide updates to key stakeholders regarding timing, cost, and any production and delivery issues that may arise.
Maintain data quality and integrity within all appropriate planning tools including accurate inventory reconciliation.Maintain item and vendor master data and digital asset repository.
Maintains cooperative working relationships with vendors while tracking and monitoring performance per agreements.
Perform other duties as needed.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 1-2 years of experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance, or Operations Research.
Sound knowledge of supply chain best practices including planning and inventory control.
Excellent oral and written skills, organizational and time-management abilities, effective inter-personal skills, and the ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels.
Some travel may be required for the role.
